Fountain of Dreams

Coimbatore Vizha is all about creating unique experiences for the citizens of our city. Right from the Double Decker bus to Sail boats to a Helicopter flower show to Tamil Nadu’s biggest laser show, this year we bring you Coimbatore’s first ever synchronized Water fountain show which will be a visual & musical treat. Spread over a kilometer at the Valankulam lake, the show promises spectacular entertainment to Coimbatore’s citizens.

Chettinadu Thiruvizha

Chettinadu Thiruvizha 2023 is a first of it's kind in Kongunadu brought to you by Nagarathar Entrepreneurs Union ( NEU). Chettinadu Thiruvizha will showcase temples, heritage, culture and cuisine of chettinad in a way you would have never experienced before - EAT, SHOP and Enjoy. The event will be held on 7th and 8th Jan 2023 at Codissia D Hall. It's open for all and entry is free. For the more discerning who would like to be more engaged and get hands on many activities like Athangudi tiles making, Kottan weaving and also like to enjoy the mouth watering authentic chettinad cusines you can buy your own Royalty Pass.

Marathon

Celebrate the spirit of Coimbatore with the first marathon of the calendar year. Lets all run together with equal fun & entertainment. This year the marathon will see participants competing in 5Km and 10Km categories. Timing chips will be provided for all 10Km runners and are optional for 5Km runners. There is also a special 2.5Km walk for senior citizens. There will be a memorable Coimbatore Vizha T-shirt and medal for all participants.

In a bid to make Coimbatore Vizha inclusive for all sections of society, Paralympics was held much to the joy of all those who participated. With the support of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, the event saw a lot of participation and brought joy to all of us. From a band to volleyball matches to national level players that participated, the event brought a lot of camaraderie to the fore.

PSG Kadambari

PSG Kadambari, is a Carnatic music festival where talented young musicians from Coimbatore are invited to perform in the concerts. This four day Musical event will be annually conducted during the month of January. In session I, students of PSG Institutions are provided a platform to showcase their talents & in Session II, upcoming young artists of Coimbatore will be provided the space to promote their talents. These young musicians feed off each other’s creative energy, and inspire each other in their performances. They are also a great inspiration to the young aspiring musicians in Coimbatore . The program is open for the general public, student community, faculty & staff of PSG Institutions.
